JPEG'd is a decentralized lending protocol that enables users to open collateralized debt positions (CDPs) using their NFTs as collateral, while allowing users to earn yield on the borrowed asset thanks to advanced DeFi strategies. Leveraging on DeFi experiences and strategies, the protocol bridges the gap between DeFi and NFTs.

Position Overview

JPEG'd is seeking a skilled Senior Front End Developer with experience in Web3 and decentralized apps to join our current full-stack team. The successful candidate will be responsible for building and maintaining the front-end for existing and future JPEG'd products, such as an NFT Floor perp trading platform. As our second frontend developer, the candidate must be able to work independently and proactively.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop new and innovative features for JPEG'd's platform using Web3 and decentralized app technologies.
• Ensure that the platform is fun and comfortable to use.
• Maintain and improve the current platform's functionality and performance.
• Collaborate with the full-stack and UX/UI team to ensure seamless integration of front-end and back-end components.
• Write clean, modular, and testable code that meets our high standards for quality and performance with an emphasis on security.
• Provide technical leadership and expertise in front-end development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Front End development, with a focus on web3 and decentralized apps.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and related web technologies.
• Thorough understanding of React.js and its core principles.
• Experience with ethers.js, React state management workflows, React Hooks, and popular component libraries (Material UI, Chakra, Ant Design).
• Familiarity with Ethereum, Solidity, and other blockchain technologies.
• Familiarity with UI/UX design principles and tools, and a sensibility for creating a good user experience.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
